Information
Privacy policy
Your privacy matters to me. Below I explain in simple terms what data I collect through this site, for what purpose, on what basis and what rights you have.
Data controller
The controller of your data is Anahata Healing Centre, 96 Marshall Road, Banbury, Oxfordshire, OX16 4QS, England. For any matters relating to your data, write to contact@anahata.love.
What data I collect
- From the contact form: your name, email address and the content of your message.
- If you sign up for the newsletter: your email address.
I collect only as much data as is needed, and I do not ask for anything more.
Purpose and legal basis
- To reply to your message and arrange the details of a session, the program or an event, on the basis of my legitimate interest and steps taken prior to entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) and (f) UK GDPR).
- To send the newsletter, only where you have given separate consent (Article 6(1)(a)). You can withdraw your consent at any time, and every message includes an unsubscribe link.
Health-related data
I work with the body and wellbeing, so I ask that you do not provide detailed information about your health in the form. We can discuss it calmly during a conversation or session. If you do provide such information, I treat it confidentially and use it solely to reply to your message.
Who I share data with
Your data may be processed by trusted service providers that I use to run this site, including an email and hosting provider, and, in the case of the newsletter, an email delivery provider. They act on my instructions and under data processing agreements.
Google Maps
The contact page embeds a Google map. Displaying the map may involve setting cookies and the processing of data by Google on the terms described in Google’s privacy policy.
How long I keep data
I keep correspondence only for as long as is needed to handle your matter and our further arrangements. An address saved to the newsletter is kept until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
You have the right to access your data, to rectify it, to erase it, to restrict processing, to object, to data portability and to withdraw consent. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In the United Kingdom this is the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO, ico.org.uk).
Contact
For any matter relating to personal data, write to contact@anahata.love. I will reply personally.
